We think of everything, so you don’t have to. From picking the right dog for your needs, to offering the specific training required to suit your environment and security needs, we are here to give you peace of mind and confidence that your safety is in good hands.
The Latest and Best Training Techniques
As technology and the science of animal behaviorism evolves, so do the training techniques that come out of them. Just because something has worked in the past, doesn’t mean it’s the best way to do things now and we at Precision K9 are committed to keeping up with the latest techniques. We don’t just focus on security training either. We know that your dog will be serving many roles in your family and there is no such thing as a “one size fits all” training regimen. This is why we train in multiple disciplines and follow the best trainers and behaviorists across the Canine spectrum to gather the absolute best techniques and technologies for you and your dog.
We Know Dogs
Having trained dozens of different breeds for everything from sport, to basic obedience, to police K9, we have first hand knowledge of breeds and their personalities and behaviors. While many companies will present everyone with a similar “copy” of the same dog, we will work with you and your family to find a protector breed that is best suited to your needs. We don’t just offer protection dogs for sale, we hand pick the best for you.
Titles are Not Enough
In the canine protection community, it’s a well known fact that many well established trainers use a formula for finding what they believe to be the best dogs. They simply follow canine sports, and look for titled dogs. Often, with little other training, these animals are then sold as protectors to unsuspecting families, who are getting a dog ill suited to their needs.
While championships do speak to quality of breeding, health and temperament, not every champion sport dog is capable of being a family friendly protector. Many are high strung, difficult to manage and temperamental. This isn’t the Precision K9 way. We choose each dog with the families of our clients in mind, so rest assured, if Precision takes on the task of providing you with K9 protection, we will be hand selecting a dog, specifically chosen for you and your family.
We Treat You and Your Dog Like Family
When getting a protection dog, you need to know that the animal is reliable and enjoyable part of your family. Unlike many training companies, whose dogs are taken out of a kennel each day, put through their training, and returned to sleep in a kennel by themselves, we integrate the family setting into our training.
Every Precision K9 Protector is trained specifically, in an environment similar to that in which they’ll serve. This means you never have to worry about putting your dog in the car with your kids, or letting them sleep at the foot of your bed. We wouldn’t sell a dog we didn’t trust to not only protect, but live with, our own families.
Delivery is Not the End
At Precision K9, we don’t just drive up and drop off your new dog. In addition to the in-home training, we consider you and your family lifelong members of our extended family and we care about the sustainable success of your relationship with your dog.
This is why we’re glad to answer questions, make recommendations and help in any way we can with training and behavioral questions, suggestions about diet and health, and any concerns or questions you have about your dog. Don’t hesitate to contact.
These Dogs Know the Job
It’s not enough to walk them through simulations. We put the dogs to work, doing the actual jobs you’ll be asking of them. When we release a Precision K9 Protector to it’s new family, we are confident the dog is ready and willing to follow your commands and carry out the tasks it was trained to do. We know this, because we’ve tested our animals, and insist on success before releasing them into their careers.
